On Feb. 13 a small group of gay, lesbian and straight students marched into a courtyard on the CU campus at exactly 11:53AM and made out en masse for approximately a minute. Why? Because while all the happy straight couples are getting married on Valentine's Day, there are just as many gay and lesbian couples who have been denied the simple right and privilege of marriage. I don't know much about heaven and hell, but I do know that God probably sends people to burn for all of eternity for committing homicide, not for committing to another person in a lifelong relationship based on the bonds of love.
